AFFILIATION TO BCS & QUEENSLAND SQUASH

Players wishing to play in any Brisbane City Squash competitions or Pennants will need to ensure that they are current with their affiliation to the States Governing Body Q Squash and Brisbane City Squash. If Membership fees are paid via the online portal Sporty HQ.

If you are currently registered on Squash Matrix you more than likely already have a Sporty HQ account that just need activating. If not it is very simple to set up an account, Just visit the site at Sporty HQ and follow the instructions to set up a new account. Alternatively speak to your Centre operator for more information on how to get signed up. There are several options for players when paying their affiliation fees but the most common one that you will use if you play squash all year is as follows.

  • Annual Full Membership Q Squash $73
  • Annual Full Membership BCS $24
  • Seasonal Full Membership Q Squash $44 (Winter or Summer only)
  • Seasonal Full Member BCS $12 (Winter or Summer only)

Some clubs have opted to have players pay their Club specific fees through this portal to so you will need to ensure you check if your club has additional fees before paying. Payment options at present are Debit Card and Pay Pal, you can also see you Centre Operator who can pay it on your behalf but you will need to see if they are willing to do this first.

The old System of PAYG is now over and players must ensure that their fees are current, players who do not affiliate will not be allowed to take part in any BCS Sanctioned event/pennant. Current event BCS run are:

  • Tuesday & Thursday Fixtures
  • Brisbane Open
  • Junior Fixtures
  • Monday Night North side Comp.
  • Championship Cup

Annual affiliation runs from January 1st – December 31st, in the first year of bringing this in BCS will allow players time to set up and pay their Fees. The cut of for this will be the end of Round 20 in normal fixtures, North and South side comps are slightly different dates but players are expected to be paid up by the end of February 2017.

If you need assistance in paying your fees you must speak to your clubs Sporty HQ administrator and they will be able to help answer your questions and get you set on the right track. In most cases this will be your Centre manager or Operator. If you require more clarification you can contact either BCS or Q Squash and someone should be able to assist.
